School fundraiser opportunities in Brenham ISD FunRaiser

The Brenham ISD Education Foundation's inaugural A Dinner to Remember fundraising event raised an impressive $173,000 in 2024, significantly surpassing its goal. The event featured auctions, games, and sponsorships, with notable contributions such as a student artwork fetching $4,100 and a matched donation doubling it to $8,200. Student projects earned a share of proceeds, with 20% allocated directly to students, 10% to their programs, and 70% funding scholarships and teacher mini-grants. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $750,000 in grants and established new scholarships, emphasizing its commitment to supporting educators and enhancing student opportunities.

Brenham ISD's annual A Dinner to Remember fundraiser has once again demonstrated the community's unwavering support for local education.

 

Held at the Brenham Fire Department Training Center, the event featured a social hour, a meal, and a live auction showcasing student artwork and community donations.

 

Early reports indicate that this year's fundraiser surpassed previous records, reflecting the community's deep commitment to enhancing educational opportunities.

 

The funds raised will directly benefit Brenham ISD students and educators by supporting scholarships, teacher mini-grants, and innovative programs.

 

In addition to the fundraiser, the district received a generous $3,500 donation from the Texas Arts and Music Festival to support the high school's fine arts department.

 

This contribution underscores the community's dedication to fostering artistic talent among students.

 

Looking ahead, the Brenham Big Event is scheduled for October 10, 2026.

 

This one-day service project will involve high school and junior high students working alongside community volunteers on various projects throughout the area.
