Barbecue cookoff excitement in Independence Tx

Independence, Texas, is set to host its annual Fire & Ice Cookoff on April 10 and 11 at the historic Independence School House.

 

Participants can compete in categories such as chicken, pork ribs, brisket, chef's choice, and the newly introduced Bloody Mary contest.

 

Team registration is $125, with additional fees for specific categories.
